annual scientific conferences

Sandra assisted in the organisation of several annual scientific meetings for a high profile cancer institute. These annual scientific meetings allowed around 200 surgeons, professors, clinicians and data managers to come together each year in a major city in Australia and New Zealand to discuss and learn about the latest research and findings, network with other medical professionals and strengthen collaborative relationships. Event management included pre-event site visits, organisation of the program, AV and event orders, management of the registrations, liaison with the international guest speakers, key delegates, event and research sponsors, preparation of the conference welcome parties and dinners, break out sessions and awards ceremonies, travel and accommodation arrangements, delegate satchels, catering and themeing. Event preparation commenced two years in advance.

Sandra also arranged regular public forums to raise awareness and encourage discussion in the community of environmental issues and scientific research while raising the profile and support of the institute. Rhema FM engaged Maximum Efficiency to assist them in organising their Business Builders Networking event and sponsorship which involved planning and managing the venue, catering, program, AV, speaker and sponsor liaison, guest package preparation, volunteer organisation, signage and safety, tours of their new facilities and registrations.

This allowed Rhema to extend its resources to focus on sponsorship while turning the event around in a limited time frame.

In 2016, Maximum Efficiency was asked to assist in the event organisation of the Lord Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. The event management included venue and catering arrangements, program and speaker preparation, major sponsor support, AV and registration management, staff and volunteer management.

In particular, the key focus was to streamline the registration process so 200 guests could arrive and be seated quickly so the early breakfast program could start and finish on time for guests needing to leave for work.

"We all know when it comes to pulling off an event you need the right people.

In 2012 we had the privilege and challenge of hosting a large scale two day event, CityFest in conjunction with Luis Palau on the Newcastle Foreshore. This event included local and international artists, 1,500+ volunteers and attracted 30,000+ people.Through this event we had a high level of engagement with Sandra as the direct representative of Hunter Christian School. This included the shaping of a financial sponsorship with the event as well as providing a larger outdoor laser tag game that made up part of the kids free entertainment.
