Sandra also arranged regular public forums to raise awareness and encourage discussion in the community of environmental issues and scientific research while raising the profile and support of the institute. These events involved managing the program, budget, travel and accommodation of guest speakers, registrations, venue, catering, safety and AV arrangements, exhibitions, notes, presentations and volunteer and student support.
